Insurance

We are currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, Optum, and Aetna and are considered an out-of-network provider with all other insurance companies at this time. Prior to your evaluation, we will verify your insurance benefits and provide an estimate of your expected financial responsibility whenever possible. Insurance coverage for psychological assessment services varies by plan and may be subject to deductibles, copays, coinsurance, prior authorization requirements, or other limitations.

Please note that benefit verification is not a guarantee of coverage or payment. Clients are ultimately responsible for any portion of charges not covered by their insurance plan.

Using Out-of-Network Insurance Benefits

If we are not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be able to receive reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.

  1. Obtain Documentation for Your Claim: Following your appointment, we can provide you with a superbill upon request. A superbill is a detailed statement that contains the information insurance companies typically require when reviewing out-of-network claims, including service dates, billing codes, fees, provider information, and diagnostic information when applicable.

  2. File Your Claim: You will be responsible for submitting the superbill and any required claim forms directly to your insurance company. Submission methods vary by insurer and may include an online portal, mail, or fax.

  3. Insurance Review and Reimbursement: Once your claim has been processed, your insurance company will determine whether reimbursement is available under your plan's out-of-network benefits. Any reimbursement approved by your insurer is typically sent directly to you.

Payment

Insurance: For clients using an in-network insurance plan, claims will be submitted directly to the insurance company. Clients are responsible for any applicable copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and non-covered services as determined by their insurance plan. Any estimated client responsibility will be collected prior to services, with any remaining balance due after insurance claim processing.

Private Pay: For clients electing to use private pay, psychological evaluations are offered at a flat fee that includes the initial interview, review of records, test administration, scoring and interpretation, report writing, a comprehensive written report, and a feedback session.

Private Pay Fees: $1,500-$2,500

*Please note: A 50% deposit is required prior to the intake appointment, with the remaining balance due prior to the testing appointment.
